THE POWER OF THE PORTFOLIO

The power of the portfolio is an introduction into the world of art. A properly prepared and developed portfolio is essential and will eventually determine how the artist and his work are evaluated. Whether choosing a commercial portfolio, a fine art portfolio or both-a portfolio-has the ability to determine one's future in art.

Entering into the art profession begins with a strong desire and a well-rounded education. One's choice of schools is an important decision as it determines a path into the art world. School is where ideas are shared, exchanged and constructively critiqued; where techniques evolve and creativity grows and where versatility creates an interest in those who view the portfolio of the artist.

The most important attribute an artist can possess is a positive attitude about one's self, one's talent, and towards others. Commit to being the best you can be. The journey into my world of art continues to broaden my horizon and has left me with an ongoing and everlasting joy and passion.
